DocAnonymizer Privacy Policy
DocAnonymizer is published by J H Property Holdings LLC.
What we collect
The DocAnonymizer application itself does not collect or transmit the contents of any document you anonymize. Detection (finding names, places, organizations, amounts, percentages, dates, phone numbers, emails, and Social Security numbers) and anonymization both run locally on your device using an offline model and pattern matching — no document content is sent to J H Property Holdings LLC or any third party as part of that process.
Where your data is stored
Anonymized documents, and the encrypted mapping needed to reverse them back to their original text, are stored only on your device. De-anonymizing a document happens locally and the restored content is written to a local file, never transmitted anywhere.
Account and subscription information
To activate and use a DocAnonymizer subscription, we collect the email address and payment information you provide during checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; J H Property Holdings LLC does not store your card details. We store your email address, subscription plan and status, and identifiers for devices you've activated, in order to enforce your plan's device limits and validate your license.
Claude Desktop integration
When used as a Claude Desktop connector, DocAnonymizer reads a local file and returns its already-anonymized text to the conversation — the original, unanonymized content is never sent to Claude or to Anthropic. Reversing an anonymized result back to its original text is written to a local file rather than returned as part of the conversation, for the same reason.
Third-party services
DocAnonymizer uses Stripe to process subscription payments (Stripe's privacy policy) and, if you sign in during device activation, an identity provider to authenticate your account. Neither service receives the contents of any document you anonymize.
Data retention and deletion
You can deactivate a device from your account page at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the email below.
