whereWUZi is published by J H Property Holdings LLC.
What we collect
whereWUZi determines your approximate location by looking up your device's public IP address using a third-party geolocation service. Each lookup records the date, time, approximate city, region, country, internet service provider, and approximate coordinates derived from your IP address. The optional Precision Location feature, available to premium users, uses Windows location services (Wi-Fi or GPS) to refine accuracy further, storing more precise latitude and longitude coordinates in your local log. All location data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted off it.
Where your data is stored
All location records are stored only on your device, in the app's local data folder. whereWUZi does not transmit, upload, or sync your location history to any server, cloud service, or third party.
How your data is used
Your location history is used solely to display a personal log within the app. It is never shared with advertisers, analytics services, or any other party.
Third-party services
whereWUZi makes outbound requests to ipinfo.io, a public IP geolocation service, to resolve your approximate location. Your public IP address is transmitted to ipinfo.io as part of each lookup. No other identifying information is sent. ipinfo.io's privacy policy can be found at https://ipinfo.io/privacy-policy.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your location log at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its local data. J H Property Holdings LLC does not retain any copy of your data.
